It took a little effort to find at first, but once there it felt wonderfully tucked away, even though everything in Ubud is close. The pool and four separate rooms, each with its own bathroom, worked well for our family of five and would also suit couples travelling together. We felt special finding offerings left out in our space. I liked being close to Balinese families and their traditions.

The villa has four spacious, clean, well-maintained rooms, plus clean, cared-for bathrooms. They clean the rooms daily, and the owners clean the nice swimming pool each day too. There’s a kitchen with utensils, and a local market just outside. It’s best suited to a group of 6-8 people or 3-4 couples. The location is very good, but the entrance is down a narrow lane, so you may need to search or ask for directions. On maps, look near a tattoo shop.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the homestay gave us a chance to experience life alongside a traditional Balinese family. It’s in a very convenient area, just a few meters from Ubud Palace, with easy access to restaurants and attractions.

The room was amazing, and the place is close to Ubud Market. Really nice.
