Taman Ayu Ubud

A cheap, convenient stay with friendly staff and cute pets. The hospitality was great, and the family style management made it easy to relax and stay like a local in a small neighborhood. We enjoyed having no restrictions. It's deep inside the neighborhood, so it can be hard to find at night. The route is dark and has no shelter when it's raining. Since it's cheap, you get what you pay for.

A kind, helpful family made everything easy, including airport transfers at a great price. The accommodation was clean, tidy, spacious, and had everything we needed. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices. It's centrally located but quiet enough to sleep well. This was perfect for our stay in Ubud. I'd highly recommend it and will come again.

Taman Ayu has become a place I keep coming back to. I've extended my stay several times because I love the energy here. It's in the middle of Ubud, across from a decent coffee shop, yet feels like a little oasis at the end of the day. A super sweet family runs the guesthouse and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Ketut and her daughters go out of their way to make guests comfortable. They've given me fruit, a container for water, and let me change rooms. They also accommodated me when there were mold issues during my monthly stay.

The owners are caring and very good, and the price is very affordable compared with Ubud's larger hotels. It's within walking distance of Ubud main market, with restaurants, cafes, and other shops nearby. Breakfast choices are quite limited, which makes sense at this price. Some facilities aren't available in the fridge and TV.
