The rooms were disappointing because the villa didn't look as new or as white as it did in the pictures. The bedrooms were clean, but green mold covered much of the bathroom walls, and there was hair in the bathtub. In one bathroom, the toilet paper ran out after a single use and hadn't been replenished properly. On the walk to Villa 2, there was a lot of rubbish to the left, behind the sign. That was quite off-putting. Some things weren't well maintained either. The living room blinds were falling off, so it was better not to unroll them, and the kitchen blinds were pretty dirty. On the plus side, breakfast and daily maintenance made it quite a good deal. If it rains, you'll need an umbrella to walk out to your car. It's about a five-minute walk to catch a Grab taxi.

It's a well-kept place with a clean pool and an adequate breakfast, but it's remote and cars can't reach it, so you'll have to carry your bags. There were too many insects and bugs in the room.

The house and pool were amazing, and the staff were great. They helped us get scooters, and they can cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with quite a range of options. We had an amazing stay, 10/10!

Villa Tirta Padi was such a peaceful, clean retreat. The busy streets of Ubud are about a 20-minute walk away, but you can also reach restaurants and bars in just a few minutes. The staff were amazing and organized whatever we needed. They were flexible about breakfast and cooked it very early when that suited us, so we'd be first to the waterfalls. I'd recommend this lovely villa without reservation. It felt more like a private hotel than a standalone villa, with spotless rooms and lots of extras: soap, toothbrushes, a washing machine, an iron, plenty of fresh towels, lovely bedding, and breakfast cooked to order each day.
