Uma Capung Mas Cottage

The jungle-like setting is a welcome break from the bustle of Ubud center, while Uma Capung Mas is still easy to reach from Ubud and nearby areas. The upstairs rooms look out over the rice paddies, and the pools are clear and clean. Wayan has welcomed me like family on each of my several stays over the last few years. Staff are always warm, and breakfast is brought to the room and is always enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back.

We enjoyed swimming in the clean pool, and there were so few people using it while we were there that I could exercise beside it too. Wayan was really friendly and easy to chat with. He ran a shuttle to the center and back at set times. Breakfast came to our room and was served on the patio, which looked onto a nicely designed garden on the first floor and rice paddies on the second.

The garden is lush and well kept, and the pool was nice and clean. We had a large, spotless room with a comfortable bed and a balcony looking out over rice fields. It's about seven minutes by bike from the center. The staff were lovely and helpful. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back 😊

Our favorite hotel during our Indonesia trip, even after staying in more than 10 places. The owner was such a charismatic, humble, helpful host.
