Uma Giri Villas Ubud by GenuineHost

We booked a two-bedroom villa with a pool, but were given a completely different house, smaller and older, with no pool. The listing on Booking and Google Maps doesn't show pictures of this old house. There was dirty water out front, a dirty sun bed, and an old living room. The manager couldn't sort it out and offered us nothing. The restaurant was also closed. This felt like a typical Bali scam. They offer the nice villa to everyone, then you arrive and get the old one. I wish this place zero guests. Such irresponsible, unfriendly behavior.

The room was roomy and the view was excellent, and the pool was spotless. The whole place is clean and clearly well looked after. Staff were so friendly, quick to help with our requests, and greeted us warmly whenever they saw us. We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay in Ubud.

We came away feeling completely refreshed after a week of daily private yoga and massages. The rooms were lovely, the food was wonderful, and the staff made everything easy. You’re right by the rainforest, frogs included, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Shuttles into Ubud are easy to arrange if you want one. We’d happily come back. Stu and Lizzy

Only four villas sit across this huge property, tucked into the jungle beside a river. They’re spacious and fit beautifully into the natural surroundings, with unforgettable views across the jungle and rice fields. The service was kind and exceptional. It went well beyond what I expected, and I’d absolutely recommend it.
