Villa Green Pearl

We were island hopping and needed a quiet place to rest after a long journey, so six of us stayed here for two nights. Diva was friendly and easy to talk to, and responded quickly to my questions. He arranged transport from the airport, scooty bikes, a SIM card, and even breakfast inside the pool, which we enjoyed. Keep Bali traffic in mind, though, as the airport trip can take upwards of 3 hours. The main downside for me was how far out the villa is. It took us 30 minutes by bike just to reach a town. The upside was no traffic nearby, so nights were quiet and we could sleep well. It was also peaceful to stay in for an evening. Our room was a nice size, with a TV, a king size bed, a safe, and its own ensuite. The bathroom is partly outdoors, so ants and bugs may show up there. The owner called an exterminator, I believe, who killed a lot of ants, but they later returned to their previous numbers. They generally stayed out of the room, so it should be fine if you don't mind them in the bathroom. The pool was a decent size, always clean, and had a shallow side suitable for kids, with some floaters. The kitchen had the essentials, including a hob, sink, and fridge, plus a dispenser for hot, cold, or neutral water. WiFi was included, but the router was in the kitchen and the signal in my room wasn't very strong. The aircon cooled the room well. The bathrooms have an interesting design, with stone sinks and an outdoor section for the bathroom and shower. It can sleep up to 12 people, with 6 double beds across the rooms. If you're happy sticking to a small area without much travel, it could suit you, and might be perfect for a honeymoon getaway. Thanks, Diva :)
