We found it good value for the money, with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The decor shows some age, but the place still has a charming feel, and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. The staff were welcoming. It’s set along a quiet street among rice fields, which made it a peaceful place to stay, though you’ll need a bike to get around. It worked well for a longer stay. We didn’t eat at the hotel. My wife tried the food a couple of times but didn’t have much praise for it. That didn’t take away from our otherwise positive stay.

Our private pool villa was a calm, peaceful spot surrounded by rice fields, with parking for both motorbikes and cars. Breakfast was only okay: noodles and an “omelet” that turned out to be an ordinary fried egg. Still, we had a nice, restful stay.

We stayed for all 12 days of our Bali vacation. What I value most in a Bali hotel is greenery, and JJ Ubud Spa Villa had trees and 3 small pools set among the rooms, with beautiful rice fields all around. It was quiet, clean, fresh, and friendly, just the sort of place to rest and recharge before work or another trip. The hotel is right in the center of Ubud. The room rate includes a car to pick guests up from Bali airport and take them back there. Reception were professional and supportive, with lots of promotions for quality tours. They also helped me get to an international clinic through my travel insurance. I really appreciated that support and ended up staying here for the whole vacation.

We arrived at night and stayed in a small, modest house, then decided in the morning to upgrade. The staff were so friendly, polite, and responsive, and helped us out. We just paid extra for a new room, which was beautiful, clean, and cozy. They also have bike rental on site. Unbelievably cool place, I recommend it.

A beautiful hotel with an old villa feel. The pool was a bit dirty, since it was very close to the paddy farm. It’s also convenient, with less traffic around here.
