Madra Rua Organic Accommodation

The hosts made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the door, which really made our two-night stay enjoyable. We were in the Carndonagh room, with plenty of space, a good ensuite and lovely views. It’s in a great location and makes a handy base for exploring Donegal. One beach, absolutely beautiful, is just a five-minute drive away.

Clara and Germain made us feel really welcome, and they knew plenty about places to see around Donegal. We had a spotless, comfortable room and generous breakfasts, with especially good homemade pancakes. I also tried a Spanish omelette for the first time and liked it. The B&B's commitment to organic food and shower products was refreshing. Madra Rue Organic accommodation was just right for our two nights in Donegal, a quality, no-fuss place I'd happily recommend.

The breakfast was awesome, and our room was clean and comfortable. Clara and German were so friendly and helpful. We’d recommend staying here for a night or more if you’re visiting Ireland and want a relaxing trip in the countryside.

We only had one night, but it was enough to make the stay feel incredible. The homemade breakfast got our day off to a great start, and the hosts were so kind and attentive. They even gave us useful advice for dinner out. We were offered tea, coffee, and a homemade muffin when we arrived, easily the best I’ve ever had. The house is lovely, comfortable, and decorated with great taste, and we slept really well in the comfortable bedding. A shame we don’t speak English, but I’d say stop here during your stay in Ireland.
