The front desk staff were very helpful, and we could walk to restaurants even though the hotel sits on the edge of town. We stayed for a few nights and used it as a base for Derry and the Inishowen Peninsula. It's a large property on a golf course, with a view of the bay. The restaurant was decent, and we ate there for dinner and breakfast. The hotel feels a bit dated.

Those pub chips were the best in the known universe. I'm a chips connoisseur, and I don't say that lightly. The burger and roast beef supper were tasty too, just what we wanted after the long drive from county Mayo. They even made us two negronies that weren't on the menu, and they were very good. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea, with fresh sea air coming in. This is a great classic Irish hotel in beautiful Buncrana, and a perfect base for exploring the Inishowen Peninsula and all of Donegal.

I usually call into the bar when I'm home. It's a quiet spot for a drink, with a much more relaxed feel than other pubs. The sea view is lovely, the service is very good, and the bar food is good too. Prices are a little higher than elsewhere, but still reasonable. Sometimes there's live music as well. This review is just about the bar.

The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. Food was great, with generous portions, and breakfast had good coffee and a buffet. The staff were the friendliest too. Amazing hotel.

We had a family get together here, with 13 of us staying at the hotel. The beds were cosy and comfortable, and I had the best sleep. There was also a lovely full-size bath. Food was great, everything was clean and smart, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
