We loved the library of books and DVDs, which kept all of us reading and watching movies at night. The cabin was spotlessly clean, quiet and affordable, especially compared with some of the ludicrously expensive cottages around. There are walks right from the doorstep, including to the local shop and pub, and mountain views in both directions. It’s countryside, but still close to everything, with beaches, restaurants and Connor Pass nearby. Tralee is just a 20-minute drive away, with a great swimming pool and waterslides. We’re a family of four, with kids aged 11 and 13, and the house had everything we needed and more: three bedrooms, a double, bunk and twin, plus a well-equipped laundry with another toilet. The bathroom was amazing, with a huge shower, excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. This cabin was fabulous, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
