We'd happily come back. The room was comfortable and very clean, parking was good, and the guesthouse is well situated. Breakfast had plenty of options and was a real treat; we especially appreciated the bottles of water. The staff were the highlight, so friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make things work for us.
Fiona was brilliant the whole time we were there, and the host was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean, and felt welcoming. It's also well placed, with the city center an easy walk away. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone needing somewhere to stay in Carlow, and I'll come back next time I'm there.
There were 21 of us students on a ten-week study abroad trip, and we spent two nights here. This has been the best B&B we've stayed at so far. The team were always cheerful and accommodating, and took great care of all of us in the cozy cottage. After our first night, they had made the beds and replaced the toiletries. Breakfast was a fantastic traditional Irish meal, with bacon, eggs, pudding, and sausages.
A spacious B&B, with more than 20 rooms and a good-sized dining area. The staff are lovely and happy to swap stories about travelling to faraway places. Great location and really good value. #ramblingstampcollectors
We were there from 4th August to 7th August 2017, and would gladly stay again. Sinead and Rob, the lovely young couple running the Carlow Guesthouse, made us feel welcome. They were professional and kind, and the house was spotless and homely. They also knew the good spots for eating and sightseeing around Carlow. Highly recommended for a visit. Thanks to you both.
