The place could be amazing with some updates, and it wouldn't take much money to get there. We found damp leak marks down the fireplace and bowls under every radiator that was leaking, which didn't match the price. The log burner couldn't be used because it filled the front room with smoke. Even replacing the can opener would only cost 5Euro. The electric shower in the downstairs bedroom didn't work properly at best, and felt unsafe at worst. Such a shame.

We had a really pleasant night in the cottage before visiting Connemara National Park. It was spacious, clean, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The owner was relaxed and friendly. It's close enough to town to walk to the pub in the evening.

We had a confirmed booking for the house, but when we turned up at 6 pm, other people were already using it. The hosts weren't helpful and left us to deal with it on our own.

We only got home today, and we were very comfortable during our stay. The place was beautiful and well kept, and the management were kind and helpful. Thanks, I'd recommend staying here and would gladly come again.
