Cong is a great village and a handy base for getting around. The staff were friendly, caring, and brilliant, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the best porridge I've had and a top-class Irish Breakfast. Dinner was superb too, and Guinness was top level. My only question about the 4.5 stars is parking. It says parking is available, but there are only four spaces. Better to say it's very limited. You may need to drive around a few times, but you can find somewhere. Still a great stay with good people and excellent food.

We slept really well in our quiet room. Breakfast was superb each morning, and we had an excellent evening meal in the friendly bar. The staff were so helpful. On arrival we got a warm welcome and were shown to a charming, clean, well-equipped room. It's a perfect spot for visiting Cong's attractions.

The second day of our wedding celebrations was at Lydon’s Restaurant, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We had met with Olga to book, and she guided us through the food and music and suggested serving our wedding cake as dessert. From start to finish, her help made us feel we were in good hands. The food was incredible, there was lots of it, and our guests were impressed. Many of them stayed in the hotel. The staff looked after everyone so well, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere was just right for relaxing with family and friends after the wedding day. Lydon’s Restaurant went above and beyond to make the day special. The attention to detail showed throughout, and we're grateful for their part in making our wedding weekend unforgettable. Highly recommended!
