It feels like you’re way out in the country, even though busy Dundalk is only minutes away. There’s a train track behind the property, but the trains must be the quietest on earth. You can hardly hear them, and one never woke us. The place is clean, comfortable, well maintained, and in good repair, with convenient off-street parking and beautiful yards. We had an excellent classic Irish breakfast. Owner/manager Evelyn Carolyn is personable and attentive, and knows the area. We love this place and would definitely stay again.

Evelyn is wonderful, and the house and grounds are beautiful. We had a girls’ night away, just Mum and me, and the service all around was top notch. Breakfast comes with all the trimmings, so you won’t leave hungry. We’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast was fantastic, and Dundalk was a pleasant surprise, an interesting historical town with friendly people. We had a lovely overnight stay in a quiet setting, though you’d need a car to get around. The host made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and our room was spotless, homely, and just right for us. I’d highly recommend staying here to explore the area.

We’ve already booked a return. Evelyn is a lovely, welcoming host, and the house is clean and quiet, just a few minutes’ drive from the centre. The beds were comfortable, and it was ideal for us. Breakfast is self-serve continental, with lovely fresh bread. Excellent value.

The rooms were warm and spotless, and breakfast was superb. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this beautiful, homely place. The host herself was wonderful and put a lot of effort into making sure everything was just right.
