The rooms were lovely, the bed was comfortable, the food was good and the rest of the staff were friendly. But the bar manager was extremely rude throughout the two days we were there. He walked around without a mask most of the time, and there was no social distancing. We didn't feel welcome with the two children we had with us. The manager alone made it feel not kid friendly at all, so I wouldn't return. I spoke to other guests who also found him extremely rude and unwelcoming.

The staff were lovely, and I found the room a pleasant place to be, with contemporary decor and a great ensuite shower. It was small, though. The noise carried on well past midnight and was very frustrating. If you need quiet, it might be worth checking with staff about the room first.

The salmon and prawn linguine from the specials was delicious, and both my friends were happy with their burgers, one beef and one chicken. Service in the restaurant and the bar was top class. A lovely atmosphere too, it's a great place to eat. Well done to everyone, I'd highly recommend it.

The chowder was amazing, and the rest of the food was great too. The rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They were so friendly and made us feel at home. The place had only been open two weeks and was still working through some teething problems. It's just 3 minutes from the sea and 15 from the city. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and the bed really comfortable, and the neighborhood is lovely, with the Prom close by. It's a bit far from Galway centre, but the price felt good for what we got. The main downside was noise from other guests, especially the corridor door slamming loudly at night. Still, a good choice overall.
