The beds were really comfortable and the shower was lovely. It’s a very welcoming, extremely clean B&B with a fresh breakfast and lots to choose from. Tourist routes are a short distance away, and the bus into Galway takes about 10 minutes, with a stop right outside.

Carmel and Gerry were extremely friendly and helpful, sharing loads of information and useful tips. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and the location was good, about a 30-minute walk from the centre. Buses are available, though not always reliable. We’d go again and recommend it.

We stayed here on a trip to Galway, and I’ve never had accommodation this fantastic. The people were lovely and helpful, and breakfast had a great range of choices. I’m sure staying here will make your time in Galway even better.

Upstairs there’s a cosy little landing nook with a sofa and board games, and the sunny porch is lovely for sitting with a book. We had a spacious room with a nice ensuite, plus a full Irish breakfast and staff who were very accommodating about dietary needs. It felt really homely, and the city centre is close by. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

The owner had marked the key places to visit on a map, which was handy for our first trip to Galway. The room was clean and tidy, though a bit tight for two big backpacks. We managed fine, and there was complimentary tea, milk and a biscuit waiting for us. Breakfast cost extra but came in generous portions and was delicious. We could choose the traditional Irish option, served with lots of care. Getting into the city centre was easy, just walk straight ahead.
