The room and bathroom were very clean, and Pat and Catherine were so friendly and accommodating with our requests. They gave us fantastic service. The B&B is in Salthill, right across from a bus stop for Galway City, about a 25-minute ride. You can also walk along the promenade to the city in around 45 minutes.
Pat and Catherine made us feel like family and were thoughtful about every detail in their lovely home. They even helped find my lost phone. Thanks for everything. Staying here made Galway one of my favorite places in Ireland.
Pat and Cat are incredibly friendly, the rooms are cozy, and the beach is a short walk away. Breakfast was GREAT!!! We were delighted with our stay and would definitely recommend it, five stars!!
Pat gave us helpful suggestions for places to eat and things to do, and breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. We spent two lovely nights at Capps Veagh B&B. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the dining area was inviting, and Pat and Catherine were gracious hosts. Highly recommend!
We stayed at Cappa Veagh B&B for two nights in August while going to our niece’s wedding at the Galway Bay Hotel. The bus stop was right outside, and the promenade was within walking distance. The room and bathroom were spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked, hot, and gorgeous. Pat and Catherine were so welcoming and kind. The price was very reasonable and well worth it. It’s the best B&B we’ve stayed in, and I’ve recommended Cappa Veagh to people I know who are heading to Galway. I’ll definitely return if I’m back.
