Brennan's B&B

The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. There’s a kettle, tea and coffee, and a mini fridge, and Kathleen had a fresh scone waiting when we arrived. She offers a great choice at breakfast, which costs extra through Booking.com. At €7.50, it’s a no-brainer and a real bargain. Lovely B&B, and a good stop if you’re passing through Glenties.

Kathleen went out of her way to make sure my mom and I were comfortable, and we had such a lovely stay. It was handy having shops and places to eat close by in town. There’s plenty to see and do around the area, and the scenery is breathtaking. One of our favorite parts of the trip, and a stay we’ll remember fondly ❤️

We had the room with a full kitchen, and everything was clean and in good order. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had modern, up-to-date fittings. Brennan's is a cute, well-run B&B, with a lovely host couple who made sure our stay was going well. Breakfast was excellent, especially the wee lemon pancakes. Definitely try them.

Cathy made our stop especially memorable with her engaging Irish charm. She was a delight to chat with, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Our rooms for the golfing foursome were immaculate. Brennan's is right on Main street in Glenties, with several restaurants an easy walk away. Don't miss a nightcap at Leo's across the street. We were lucky enough to be there for a football celebration with Leo himself the night we stayed.
