The rooms are comfortable, and the staff have always been friendly when I’ve stayed here for work. I’m French, so I may be fussy about food, but the drinks, starters and mains were really good. The Thai curry was only average and should come off the menu. Desserts were just okay, which was a shame. Still, I’ve had a very nice experience at the hotel.

We liked the hotel so much that we added another night to our stay. The room was lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable, and we didn’t need anything else. The menus have plenty of choice, and the food was top class. Everyone we met, from the bar, catering and housekeeping teams to management, was helpful and made us feel special from the moment we arrived. Glenties is a beautiful setting for the hotel. I’d have no hesitation recommending The Highland Holel. Glentues. Co. Donegal.

Breakfast was a real highlight, absolutely delicious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Finding parking took a bit of effort, though. Glenties is a small, quiet town with not much happening, but it’s charming and well kept. A cozy place for a getaway, and I’d recommend it.

There was a party on, but the staff handled the pressure very well and the food was fresh. The bar service was fabulous.

The steak was cooked perfectly, and the prices were very reasonable. We came in for my mother's birthday dinner, and the staff were so polite and helpful. They even lit the fire for my folks. We loved the hotel and restaurant.
