We booked at the last minute for Jan 30th, after my husband got home from Florida that day and then had to attend a local conference. He was badly jet-lagged, so we were glad the rooms were clean and comfortable, even if they were basic and had no safe. The reception looks amazing, like a five-star hotel. Dinner in the spacious, nicely decorated bar was excellent, both the food and service. It was busy and staff apologized for the food taking a while, though the wait really wasn't long. Breakfast in the main restaurant had a good choice of hot and cold items. Patricia was especially friendly and helpful at both meals. I'd happily recommend it for a stay in the midlands.

We ended up chatting for nearly four hours over lunch and were never asked to leave, even though the bar was busy. The food was delicious, there was a full carvery available, and the service was friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was a handy halfway point for me coming from Dublin and my three friends travelling from Roscommon. We're planning to meet again in the Spring and can't wait.

Breakfast was included and was perfect, and the food was delicious. The staff were so lovely, and even offered to arrange a taxi for us for the next day when we were leaving. The hotel itself was amazing, with really nice quality rooms. I was impressed and would highly recommend it.

The food was gorgeous, and everyone in my family enjoyed every dish at my son's 21st birthday celebration. The staff made the day especially enjoyable: they were professional, attentive, and took care of all our requirements from when we arrived through to the end. We felt welcome and looked after throughout. It was a memorable occasion, and after such a wonderful experience I'd happily recommend the venue for a special celebration. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a lovely day.

Didn't stay there since I live nearby, but we went for dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous. The staff were friendly, funny and attentive. I couldn't say enough nice things about the place, and would definitely recommend it for a good meal out.
