Hazelbrook Killarney

Hazel was a kind, discreet host, and having a shared kitchen meant we could choose whether to eat in. Our room was roomy and really comfortable, and the cleaning was spotless. The house is in a charming, peaceful neighbourhood surrounded by nature, just a few minutes by car from Killarney city centre. I'd definitely choose Hazelbrook again if I come back to Killarney.

The hosts were really sweet and had lots of good tips about Ireland. Everything was super clean, and we felt safe. The house is modern and beautifully decorated, with a fancy boutique hotel feel but still cozy and easy-going. It's a few minutes from Killarney town, but far enough out to feel peaceful and quiet. There's an amazing view just up the street, the best around. I couldn't find anything negative to say. Wonderful stay!

The little apartment out back had a small kitchen, a compact living area with a sofa and TV, and a bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and it was hands down the best sleep we had on the trip. We stayed there for a night while passing through Killarney, and the location made it easy to set off for the National Park in the morning. The house was attractive and well maintained, and the rooms in the main house seemed to have en suite bathrooms. The kitchen in the main house is self-serve, so we went out for breakfast. Hazel wasn't there when we checked in, but a man greeted us, got us settled and was quite nice. If you book directly, you need to pay cash because they don't have a credit card machine, though some rooms can also be booked via AirBnb. I'd definitely stay again.

Hazel was such a kind and welcoming host, and the location is beautiful. I can't recommend Hazel's guest house enough. If we get back to Ireland, we'll definitely stay at Hazelbrook again.
