That first morning in the garden, with the birds, the breeze in the trees, lavender in the air, and church bells, brought on the happiest tears of my whole visit. I'd dreamed about seeing Ireland for over 40 years, and this place charmed me straight away. Paul gave us directions that went, "Halfway through town, stone house with a gray door. Knock." How could you not love that? Karin's welcome was lovely, the accommodation beautiful, and there was fresh-baked bread. The village is lovely too, with Hickey's Pub. The Silvermines Mtn hike has the most incredible Irish views. There's a little forest walk one street over, and an old church and graveyard we only discovered as we were leaving. The place is clean and comfy, and the map drawer is a goldmine. Truly lovely accommodation.

We've stayed in the lovely cottages three times and enjoyed every visit. Each time, we wished we could extend our stay. Owners Paul and Karin are happy to help with anything. It's an amazing place to stay in this part of Tipperary!
