Frances was so friendly, and she served a very nice breakfast. This B&B felt homey but had a luxurious feel to it, with nicely decorated rooms that were spacious and cosy. It’s easy to explore Portmagee on foot across the bridge, and nearby tourist sites are a short drive away. I’ve stayed in four places on this trip, and this was hands-down the best so far. Lovely accommodation, and probably great for a romantic getaway too.

Portmagee village is just a few minutes away on foot, and the Kerry Cliffs and other sights are only minutes away by car. We had such a lovely time with Frances, a warm host and a great person. The location is fantastic for the Ring of Kerry, and the family feel at breakfast was especially nice. We highly recommend staying here!

We used our modern, contemporary rented home on Valentia Island as a base to tour Kerry, Killarney and West Cork. The island made for a wonderful week for both adults and children, with long walks, lovely scenery, exploring and water sports. We had a fabulous stay.

A lovely, peaceful BnB close to Portmagee Harbor, making it handy for trips to Skellig Michael, the Kerry Cliffs and other places in County Kerry. Frances was a wonderful host and very accommodating.

Our upstairs room looked out over the sea and Portmagee, and was spacious, with an en-suite, TV and tea-making facilities. Because of Covid, continental breakfast was brought to our room: fresh-baked bread, croissants, yogurts, tea and fresh fruit. The home is just over the bridge from Portmagee, with plenty of parking and a large reception once inside. There are rooms downstairs too. Francis, the lovely host, had lots of useful sightseeing information. Thoroughly recommend. Pictures taken from our room.
