The owners have made this a relaxing, safe-feeling place, and all the facilities looked just like the pictures. The details around the hotel made it feel especially welcoming, and the food was delicious. The landscape and water all around are beautiful, so ask for a sea view. I stopped here for a last-minute night in January 2026 on my way back to Belfast, and the staff were wonderful. The two ladies working in the restaurant and bar were so kind and helpful. Check-in was easy, and they offered me an upgrade because they had a room available. Everything was clean and comfortable. Such great value for money on the west coast. Thanks for a great stay, I’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant is spotless, nicely laid out, and not too crowded. We warmly recommend it and wish them all the best. It’s in the beautiful village of Rosses Point in County Sligo, with majestic views, and the staff are friendly and go above and beyond. There’s a good range on the menu, so look out for the daily specials. The beach is a two-minute drive up the main road, with plenty of parking. Definitely worth seeing, and expect an ocean breeze.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the food was good with a nice variety. The old spring mattress needs replacing. I’d also go easy on the air fresheners or cleaning products, probably used for a “good reason” since the bathroom has no air vent or window.

The sushi and Nutella gnocchi I tried from my wife’s order made me jealous. My own meal was one of the nicest I’ve ever had: fantastic chicken wings with a really good dip, not the usual fake blue cheese sauce, and lobster that was cooked and served beautifully. The crème brûlée was astounding, with a crisp top and gorgeous soft middle. We’d been here before and I wasn’t impressed, but everyone has an off day. This time the staff were funny, welcoming and attentive, checking on us about 10 times. Definitely one of the best restaurants in sligo.

The quality of the food was a big letdown at our disappointing Mothers Day meal. The tuna and chicken sushi starters were the best part. The steak in the sandwich was chewy and overdone, the monkfish with prawns lacked taste and came with mash potato and cheese, the curry had no kick, and the kids’ bangers and mash came with cheap canteen sausages. Service was just okay. Nobody asked the usual question about whether the food was alright, and we had to go to the bar to pay after waiting too long for a waiter to come to the table.
