The location is hard to beat, with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room was cozy and very well designed in an antique style, and the Victorian tub was a great surprise. We loved using it, it felt straight out of a game of thrones scene. The staff at the colony hotel across the street were kind and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, and the buffet had what we needed. On Saturday, you can’t get ground coffee from the machine. The balcony is shared between the two rooms and separated by just a few plants, so it isn’t fully private, but it’s lovely and looks out over the main avenue. We had a great stay.

Atelier Luxury Room had a beautiful antique feel, with plenty of charm and character. It’s just steps from the Baha’i Gardens, with great restaurants nearby, and the area is generally peaceful. The host was very friendly, smiley, and knew a lot about the area and Haifa’s history, which made the stay feel warmer. Check-in is at the reception across the street. A few things to know: if you’re driving, ask about parking in advance, since there’s street parking and a space behind the building. There are excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. “Fattoush” is worth a visit for Levantine dinner with a view of the Baha’i Gardens lit up at night. The gardens have set entry hours and guided tour times, so check ahead and book a tour if you can.
