New Capitol Hotel - Jerusalem

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was tasty and excellent. The bathroom was clean too. But the room itself wasn’t clean enough for me, with dust everywhere, and the kettle was very dirty, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were no water bottles, the room was very small, and the TV didn’t work.

The staff were kind and so helpful, and they made the stay a bit more bearable. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from al Aqsa Mosque. The rooms, though, were small and dirty. Some had no windows, and some had mold. The bathroom was tiny, especially the shower, where you could barely turn around. The duvets and towels had holes in them, which made me wary of using them. The curtains wouldn’t open and hung badly. They didn’t actually clean the room, just replaced towels, rubbish bags and toilet paper. Dinner at the restaurant buffet wasn’t worth it either, with few choices and odd food combinations. I wouldn’t recommend this place or come back. I think there are much cleaner Palestinian-owned hotels to stay in.

Good rooms, great service, and parking nearby.

The room was spacious and cleaned every day, and both the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly. Wi-Fi was free and had decent speed even in the room. The hotel is an easy walk from the AlAqsa complex. Breakfast and dinner were buffets with a range of dishes, and the food was quite decent.
