Eyal Hotel

We arrived unexpectedly in the evening a few days ago and were welcomed so warmly. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they quickly set us up in two lovely, clean rooms. They even brought a bottle of wine since we were worn out from the journey. Bad weather made us leave Jerusalem a night early, and the hotel refunded that unused night in full. Such thoughtful service. I highly recommend the hotel.

The family rooms worked really well for us. They’re two adjoining rooms with a connecting door, so the teenagers got their own room and a second shower. The location is great, within walking distance of Music Square, Mamila Mall, Machne Yehuda market, the Tolerance Museum, and more. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise for the price, and the staff were very understanding when we overslept and arrived as it was closing. A few drawbacks: there’s no pool, and parking is very limited. We had to park outside for 120 NIS per night, though they did warn us by phone in advance. The beds are two separate mattresses, “Jewish beds,” rather than one queen-size bed.

Good service and a nice breakfast. The place was mostly clean, well located, and reasonably priced. I’d recommend it.

The hotel and rooms are decent for what you pay, and the location is great. Breakfast had plenty of choices. The underground garage is small, with only a limited number of spaces, but we did find parking during our stay.
