Olive Tree Hotel

The food made a big impression on our family. It was fresh, delicious, plentiful, and there was a great variety of dishes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and most of the staff were kind and considerate, though some were unfriendly or unhelpful, and Rudy was rude. Dinner service stopped at 8:30, with no more food, sweets or milk available after that, which disappointed me. We stayed at OLIVE TREE HOTEL for three nights with family. Its location is a real plus, close to a tram station that we used to get to Jaffa Street. We had an amazing visit and would come back for a longer trip, even knowing the double bed had two mattresses with a big gap in the middle. I recommend the hotel.

The way one of the hotel owners treated us was the worst part. He came over yelling, called our children animals and said we didn't know how to raise them. Then he yelled at my sister and told her not even to look at him. I don't know where that person is, but this is Israel, not Afghanistan. Women have rights. The room seemed like it was from the 1950s, dusty and with a very strong smell. There weren't enough towels for everyone, and we were told none were available. The lobby was very dark. During two Shabbat Chatan gatherings with more than 200 people sweating in the heat, they kept switching off the AC in both the lobby and dining room.

The food was hygienic, and the hotel is in the city center, quite close to Al quds. Very good.

We had such a lovely stay and made fond memories in September 2023. The room was clean and pretty, the bed really comfortable, and the food delicious. Service was friendly too. I'd happily stay again.
