Most rooms were great. There were a couple of complaints from people in single-occupancy Double Rooms about not having enough furniture or a fan. They only had one towel per person too.

The buffet breakfast was great, and Room 12 had the best view of Douglas Bay. We spotted lots of seabirds and a dead seal, though not in the room, I should add. Lovely stay, and I’ll be back.

The location opposite the beach was ideal, close to town and the Ferry Port, and our room was cosy and very comfortable. Many thanks to everyone at the Ellan Vannin, especially Sarah, Paul and Pauline. The whole staff were fantastic, a real credit. Colin and Kerry would definitely come back. Many thanks x

We were in a quiet room at the back, so didn’t have a view out front. The location on the seafront was great. We slept well, and the room was clean and tidy with tea and coffee and plenty of storage. The shower was good, though the toilet room was a bit small. Breakfast was the only slight disappointment because of the price, though I understand costs have gone up. I’d definitely return, really nice place.

Ask for the Manx Kippers at breakfast, they’re cooked to order and well worth it 😋. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless, and the friendly staff made sure we enjoyed our stay. It’s right on the front with stunning views across the whole bay, and very handy for the ferry terminal.
