Silvercraigs

Small, but perfectly big enough for the two of us in this budget room. It was fresh and clean, and very good value. The hotel is right on the Promenade, with bus stops and the horse-drawn tram nearby. There's also a good local cafe and a hotel bar serving cask beers. We'd definitely stay again.

Getting around was easy from here: the hotel is on the promenade opposite a bus stop and only a couple of minutes from the railway. Inside, it's cosy, and there's a tiny lift serving every floor. Our rooms were small without feeling cramped, and after a hot shower the beds were a lovely place to sink into. I'm fussy about cleanliness, so finding everything spotless made me really happy. Definitely worth the price. I'll come back if I'm in Douglas again.

The host is an absolute star, and we'll definitely use Silvercraigs guest house again. We spent four days there while visiting the I,O,M and couldn't have been happier. There were three single beds in the room, exactly what we needed. It was clean, and tea and coffee were replenished every day at no extra cost. Joe-Davey- and David.

We enjoyed our second stay and would be glad to return. The hotel has a lovely sea view and a central spot, in a Victorian-style building with an elevator and English breakfast. Still, the best part is the manager, „Stuart“. He's polite, helpful, trustworthy, reliable and friendly, always ready to help and say something kind.
