Sea Breeze Guest House

Leslie made our stay really lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Everyone gave us a warm welcome, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The rooms were clean and well placed for exploring the island. We'd definitely come back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's ideally located, just a stone's throw from Douglas promenade, and the room was very clean. I left my keys in the room and had to ring Delia, the proprietor, very late at night. She quickly sorted me out with a spare set. Keep up the good work, Delia. 👏

Breakfast was just a basic continental spread, and the ham, cheese and yogurt were a surprise since they weren't mentioned in the booking. For what we paid, that felt pretty poor. We stayed three nights and never got fresh towels. The room was ensuite, but cramped, with no drawers or wardrobe and only two sockets. It sat above a refrigeration unit that kept starting up noisily overnight, and we had to leave the window open because there was no cooling. The B&B is on a run-down street behind the promenade, and there's nowhere to park if you arrive by car. I wouldn't stay again.

The room was cold, and guests can't adjust the heating themselves. There isn't a check-in desk, so I waited outside in the cold for quite a while before someone arrived with the keys. The place was spotless and in a great location. The people I reached by phone were also very kind and attentive, and answered quickly.
