Crystal Inn

Crystal Inn is within 1.5 kms of Taj Mahal and works well as a comfortable mid budget option for tourists and families who want a decent stay nearby. Its resources and facilities are limited, but the staff’s attitude helps make the stay pleasant. Our extended family booked 6 rooms for one night for a family function. The hotel has a no decoration policy, yet they willingly added balloons, bouquets and cake to give the room a decorated feel. For me, hospitality isn’t about everything being perfect every time. It’s how a hotel handles problems. When we pointed out that the tikkas weren’t cooked enough, they removed them from the bill and also didn’t charge us for the other chicken dishes, which were almost ready by then. Dinner wasn’t quite right, but I still found the stay comfortable and felt valued. I have no hesitation recommending the hotel. My ratings: overall 4.5 stars, service 4, food 3, hospitality 5, location 5, value for money 5.

The location is handy for visiting the Taj East Gate, and most of the team were welcoming, polite, and helpful. The one exception was receptionist Abhishek, who came across as a little rude. The rooms look like the photos and were clean, well kept, and nicely designed. Since the renovation, everything feels fresh and modern, and the washrooms were hygienic too. They should remove the old Google photos because they no longer show the rooms as they are now. I had a really good stay and would recommend Hotel Crystal Inn in Agra.

We were there on a short family trip, and the East Gate of the Taj Mahal is an easy walk away. The staff were cooperative, the rooms were very clean, and we enjoyed the restaurant food. Breakfast had a decent selection too.

The staff, especially Abhay Kumar, made the stay special with their excellent service. We had a great view from our clean, comfortable room, and the food was delicious. The location was convenient, and the Wi-Fi was useful. Restaurant staff and service were great too.
