The location is a plus, and the housekeeping kaka was good to deal with. But my overall experience was disgusting. Don't choose based on the room photos. Reception staff were unwelcoming, and their manner of speaking made it feel like they were doing the customer a favor. The room was unhygienic, the wallpaper torn, and a light wasn't working. The TV cable either wasn't working or had been intentionally cut off. There was no water, and the AC worked only some of the time. Reception staff asked for money every day.

There’s plenty of space, but the upkeep was among the worst I’ve seen. Basic room items and drinking water weren’t provided unless we asked. Breakfast was disappointing too, with only one or two choices. Even tea was kept out of reach and had to be requested. They could call it a “Secret Buffet” and give it a theme.

From arrival right through to departure, the staff made sure I felt looked after. They were warm and friendly, and readily did extra to meet my needs. I had a wonderful stay, thanks to their service, and would recommend the hotel to anyone who values attentive staff.

The photos online give a different impression from what I found in person. The hotel felt average, the lift wasn’t working, and cleanliness was poor. The complimentary breakfast was limited to poha and upma.
