I saw the kitchen from the back, and it looked completely unhygienic. The room itself had cockroaches, mosquitoes, a strong cigarette smell, and an air conditioner that didn't work properly. The hygiene was extremely poor, and the staff's attitude added to the experience. I couldn't tell that management was interested in running the hotel at all. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I checked in today at AJ Park, Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kerala, and the condition of the property made me feel they were damaging Kerala tourism. I ask the Kerala Government and the Kerala Tourism Department to take strict action, because places like this hurt the reputation of Kerala as a tourist destination. Tourists should think twice before booking. I'd rather sleep by the roadside than stay here. Never choose AJ Park, Alappuzha (Alleppey).

The staff were friendly, and the location is good with potential to be a great hotel. Breakfast was available, but only dosa. Our stay was still marred by the bathroom door, which wouldn't close properly. Staff knew about the problem and assigned us that room anyway. The water was also harsh on our skin.

The room wasn't clean, and the AC didn't work. I had a very bad experience here and will send a detailed complaint by email about what happened.

We stayed here on 9 May 2026, and I was extremely disappointed. The morning woman at reception acted like she owned the place and ruled over it. She was rude to guests and even the managers, and told lies. The reception staff don't seem to know how to manage things or respect guests. Please don't choose this property.

We had a good stay, and it seems the place has improved since earlier criticism on Google. Our room, 210, was good, and the staff were helpful and well behaved. The location is well connected, with a temple and market nearby and major sites close as well.
