I booked through make mytrip on 28th December 2024, but when I arrived, the hotel refused to check me in and said they didn’t accept online bookings. The reception person wasn’t in uniform, acted like a hooligan, came out near our cab, and didn’t even let us into the reception or welcome us. His body language made it seem clear that they’d sold the rooms to walk-in guests at a much higher rate than the booking apps showed, because it was a premium weekend and hotels everywhere were full. The service was pathetic. I complained to mmt, which refunded the booking amount in five minutes and black listed the hotel.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, well appointed, and climate controlled, with very luxurious linens. The hotel has a quiet elegance, and the location is convenient. Staff were genuine and professional, attentive to every need. The front desk team were especially excellent, friendly, and extremely helpful. They made my stay very pleasant, and I appreciate that.

The counter staff member was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent spot near alapuzha boat jetty, which saves time and the hassle of finding parking when going boating. The room was clean and okay, but the AC was fixed at one temperature and couldn’t be changed, and the bathroom shower wasn’t working at all.

There’s no room service, though they will top up your bottles with water from the purifier. We were bothered by mosquitoes while sleeping in our first-floor room, but my friend on the ground floor didn’t have that problem. Our A/c room with an extra bed cost RS 1750/, and the Non-A/c option was Rs 1250/-, which felt a bit high. You can imagine how much the rates might rise when tourist numbers go up. With the extra bed, the room also felt a little cramped, so the stay was just okayish.
