We came for two nights and ate four meals here. The chef really knows what they're doing, whether it's local food, Chinese, or Punjabi dishes. Easily 10/5 for the food. The rooms felt fresh and spotless, with plenty of space, a big comfortable bed, a huge clean bathroom, a study table, and a peaceful lawn view. It's remote, which was what I wanted, and the property is right by the beach. At night we sat outside our room listening to the sea and nature. The muddy road can make getting there a little tricky, but it wasn't a real problem for us. The local staff were kind and worked hard to make our stay comfortable. Fabulous and relaxing, a place I'd visit to reset.

I've kept coming back to Karpewadi Resort for 4-5 years, and it has stayed affordable while keeping up its standards. The rooms are clean, the surroundings are cared for, and the peaceful setting works well for families and couples. Konkani food is another reason I return, especially the seafood, curries, and home-style meals. The flavors feel authentic and carefully prepared. It's a short walk to the beach, where the waves and coastal breeze make mornings especially lovely. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and they make guests feel at home. A relaxing beach break with good food and genuine Konkan hospitality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

There's a nice garden, the service is good, and the food is awesome. Rakesh, the property caretaker, and the team were humble and looked after us very well. The beach is within walking distance. We've stayed here twice and are planning another visit. The property has just six rooms, so it stays calm even when they're all occupied. Rooms and washrooms are both spacious and well maintained. Highly recommended.

The tasty food and polite, humble chef and staff were among the good parts of our stay. They let us check out an hour late, and we celebrated Holi on site. The resort was empty during Holi, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves after booking two of its six rooms. There's direct access to Nagaon Beach, with a somewhat private beach feel. But Karpe Wadi has changed since we visited years ago. It's been divided, with a new resort next door, leaving Karpe Wadi with only six rooms and a small open area. For five adults and three children aged 11, 7, and 5, we paid Rs. 18,500 for two nights. That felt overpriced for very basic rooms with no proper blankets or pillows, bathrooms in poor condition, no interiors, and partly transparent bathroom mirrors. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, coffee sachets, and milk powder weren't provided, even when we asked. The food was also expensive, despite the delicious Maharashtrian vegetarian dishes the chef suggested and prepared. Aloo Jeera was Rs. 250, Veg Biryani Rs. 350, Aloo Methi Rs.275, Egg Thali Rs. 350, and Dal Fry Rs. 200. A small pomfret cost Rs. 350, which seemed a lot for the portion. There was no proper first-aid kit. When our child got hurt, they gave us expired Savlon and a dirty bandage. Activities were very limited: the only indoor game was a broken carrom board, the badminton set was damaged, and the books were old and dirty. There was no karaoke or music entertainment, no ice cream for dessert, and breakfast choices were limited. No fruit or kid-friendly options like milk with chocos or Bournvita, either. There was no swimming pool. The owner doesn't seem interested in improving the property while charging high prices for minimal facilities. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.
