Himalayan Hamlet

We stayed for two days and had a pleasant time. Uncle and his son Nitin hosted us and gave all the help and support we needed. The Himalayan views from the homestay are breathtaking, and early risers can catch the sunrise.

The terrace has spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks, and the food Saraswati Aunty cooked was absolutely delicious. The hosts were incredibly warm and made us feel right at home. A lovely weekend getaway.

The hospitality was good and the rooms were wonderful. My only comment is about the washrooms: it would be better if both rooms had attached ones, or if there were at least two. At the moment, only one room has an attached washroom, and people in the other room have to pass through the first room, which makes privacy difficult.

Uncle, aunty, their son and daughter-in-law were lovely hosts, and the whole family was friendly and cheerful. Aunty is a fantastic cook. The garden is well kept, with different flowers and plants. The view from the house is beautiful all day and night. We couldn't see the mountain peaks because of the weather, but the sunrise was mesmerizing. I stayed with my wife, younger brother, his wife and son. There are two rooms and one washroom on the first floor, along with a kitchen and a large open space. There's another washroom on the ground floor. The valley views from both the rooms and the open space are beautiful and soothing.
