Getting luggage upstairs is on you, since there is no elevator. Water pressure was so weak that it ran out while I was showering, and the room had no water. When I asked for a towel, I got a worn rag. The rooms were dirty, and it seemed like they couldn't even be bothered to clean once a month. Service was horrible.

We booked the whole hotel for a relative's marriage party and had a good experience. The nearby temple helped with the ceremony, and we also used the roof for some family gatherings. The dining area is small for parties. The place itself was clean, with spacious rooms and helpful staff, and it's easy to find from Shimla highway. I'd recommend it.

We'd booked online three days ahead and paid the full amount, but after we got into the room the manager demanded another 500/- because the rates had been revised. He said we'd have to pay or leave. Since it was midnight, we paid. This is about ethics, not the money. We're regular visitors, yet the staff treated us badly. It was a terrible experience, and we won't return or recommend the hotel.

The infrastructure was good and the price very low, but the desk manager, Deepika, ruined our trip. She was rude and rowdy, and needs to lower her voice and be more careful with customers. There is a proper way to handle guests, and she didn't seem to know it. If anything goes wrong, don't expect them to help. Please read this carefully before checking in.
