The people running this place were extremely rude, and the service was terrible, especially for bike rental. The vehicles were in such poor shape they were only fit for scrap, though they kept them clean so they looked decent. They charged exorbitant prices for them.
After I’d been riding the scooter for a while, I tried to switch it off, but the engine wouldn’t stop. I tried everything without success, and people on the street tried to help. In the end I had to take it to a repair shop, where they replaced the fuse. When I returned the scooter, the staff weren’t welcoming. They said this had never happened before and that their scooters might sometimes fail to start, but always switched off. Even after I showed them pictures of the repair, they told me I’d been ripped off and made me pay the repair cost myself. After that exchange, I wouldn’t recommend renting scooters there.
I booked a ₹38,000 flight with Jet Airways through the travel agency owned by the guesthouse. The airline has since folded, and the owner has kept the refund instead of responding to my emails. Very disappointing.
Whenever I’m in Anjuna, I stay at Manali guests house. It’s a very nice family, and they can help you with anything 🙏🌺
I had a very bad experience, especially with their scooty rental service. Everything was in very poor condition.
