The Nirmala palace

I stayed for two nights and had a good experience. The rooms were neat and clean, and the room service was amazing, whatever you need. One of the best hotels in Ayodhya, and highly recommended for families.

The rooms were clean, the staff were polite, and the location was good, near shree ram mandir, saryu river and hanuman mandir. I’ll recommend it to my friends.

My family was planning to stay for a night, but once we got to the property, the rooms didn’t look like the photos the hotel had posted. The paint was peeling, the bathroom was tiny and cramped, and the room smelled really bad. We decided to inspect before paying the full amount, and I’m glad we did. We left without staying and booked another hotel. We’d paid ₹1000 in advance and asked for it back, but the staff told us to contact customer service, which refused the refund. I don’t understand why the site lists this hotel among its most recommended options. The staff were somewhat polite and helpful, but it was still a terrible experience.

I travelled with my elderly mother, so I put her needs first and left. There was no lift, balcony, or even windows in the rooms, and the air felt suffocating. The hotel staff didn’t know what had been promised, while the agency denied making those commitments. They said Naina, the woman who had given us the property details, had resigned. Goroomgo had made false promises about the property to get the booking. They also refused to return the advance payment. It was the worst booking experience I’ve had. I don’t recommend this agency or this place for families or anyone wanting a comfortable stay.
