Chandigarh International Airport is roughly a 40-45 minute drive, while Kalka, the nearest major railway station, is about 20-25 km away. I had a really bad experience. I booked without a fixed checkout date because of my work, and each day the staff asked when I would leave. I kept saying I’d confirm two days ahead once I knew. Still, on 16-Apr they told me I was only booked through Friday and had to check out then. I hadn't confirmed that date, so I asked how they could decide it for me. I then found out they had a prior booking and were full for the weekend. Poor management and no empathy.

I was asked by the manager to switch rooms while I was out because of floor work. After moving into the other room, I noticed that a bottle of liquor was missing from my belongings. I reported it right away, but the manager casually said nothing had been found, without doing a proper check, reviewing CCTV, or investigating. I expected my things to be safe in the room, and this left me seriously concerned about guest safety, room security, and staff accountability. The issue was handled very unprofessionally. Future guests should be careful with their valuables.
