OYO 7454 Hotel Ronaldo's

Never again. There was no electricity in our room for over two hours, and when I asked the receptionist about it, he shouted and used abusive language. The reception guy was horrible. Don’t even consider booking here.

The location is good, and the servers were polite, but the price was too high for what we got. Toiletries weren’t provided, and there’s no room intercom, so you have to call or message the owner whenever you need service. The owner seemed like a bit of a pushover. The facilities weren’t enough to justify the cost.

The breakfast was a pretty poor experience. There’s only one item to choose from, and with a bread omelet they served the bread and omelet separately. I think it was the same with the onion dosa. I stayed here in May 2018. The room was small but clean and tidy, service was good, and the power backup was a real plus. The AC ran 24/7, which is a must in summer. There’s no parking, though. For 650 bucks per person per day, it was good value, as long as you don’t expect too much.

We’re usually willing to compromise, but the front desk staff’s attitude made our one-day stay at Hotel Ronaldo near Baga beach very unpleasant. They were rude, and it felt like they were trying to rip off customers. We were supposed to get breakfast with the stay, but they didn’t provide it and then behaved badly, so we decided to skip it. The toilet seat had yellow stains, and the room wasn’t properly ventilated. We couldn’t open the windows. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing trip in Goa.
