The room was in terrible shape: the fan, lights, TV, flush, and geyser didn’t work, the sofa was broken, the windows were broken, and the bedsheets and blankets were in awful, smelly condition. We stayed with family, and guests were arguing with the owner all night trying to get basic service. The owner was so rude that even the smallest request turned into a fight. The owner first asked us to come to the hotel, then after we paid for the reservation said they couldn’t provide services like room service or housekeeping. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I wish I could give this *pathetic hotel* zero stars. I will never recommend it, ever.

The price was so high, the service so bad, and the behavior worst. Visiting this hotel was a very bad experience. Please don’t go, it’ll totally waste your vacation.

The photos gave me the wrong impression. It doesn’t snow that much anyway, and my experience was a total disappointment. Getting there took time and effort that felt wasted. Make this your last option, or just avoid it. I wouldn’t pay more than 600 Rupees for it.

The owner lady behaved very badly. I was harassed, with the owner cutting the electricity and the lady owner turning off the water supply. Please don’t book this hotel.

Anchal Hotel is in a pretty good spot, downhill from the main Mall Road Kasauli and within walking distance of Sadar Bazar Kasauli. It’s in the main town, next to Gian Hotel. The hotel is average, though, and doesn’t quite measure up to the other modern properties nearby.
