Sri Deepika Ramachandran Residency by OYO Rooms

I was very disappointed with the receptionist's attitude and response. The cot wasn't clean, the sheets and pillow cover hadn't been washed, and they wouldn't give me a blanket when I asked at reception. Only after I contacted customer care did they bring one, and it had already been used.

There were insects crawling onto the bed from the mattress at night. I killed nearly 20 of the blood-sucking bugs, called Nallilu in Telugu. The sheets were stained and unwashed, and they charged extra even though I'd booked through Oyo. The AC, fan, and TV all turned on but didn't actually work. There was a lot of noise from the rooms above at night, and the rooms didn't feel safe. They offer rooms to unmarried couples.

Noise throughout the property made it hard to rest, and there was little soundproofing. Staff seemed indifferent, with basic requests left unanswered and no real hospitality. At check-in, the room looked nothing like the online photos. It was in poor repair, not very clean, and had a stale smell. Promised amenities were missing or didn't work. This stay at Sri Deepika Ramachandran Residency, booked through Oyo, was a nightmare. I trusted Oyo to provide decent accommodation, but this place falls well below what I'd expect even from a budget stay. I strongly advise against staying here. Oyo should reconsider listing properties that don't meet basic standards.

The bathroom door had no lock, and the rooms were untidy. The AC and geyser didn't work either. Management was rude and charged me an extra 1,000 rupees per room for one night after I arrived, even though I had booked online through Oyo. Better to avoid these residences. 0/5.
