Deer wandered through the resort at night, which was a lovely surprise with the cottages set right in the jungle. This ended up being the best stay of our whole holiday. Our room was simple but roomy and comfortable, with clean towels and good toiletries. The restaurant staff looked after us especially well, and all three buffet meals were generous and delicious.

Seeing deer grazing close to some rooms was a real highlight. The grounds were attractive, peaceful, and well kept, and the spacious rooms were clean and comfortable. Families have plenty to do, from the big pool and separate baby pool to archery, basketball, the game room, and documentaries. Staff were courteous and helpful, and there was a good range of excellent food at each meal. We had a great family break here and would recommend it for a relaxing stay in nature.

The deer wandering right up to our room was such a peaceful, unusual sight, and the resort sits among lush greenery beside the jungle. Chef Mahesh kindly made the food we needed, and the meals were tasty and healthy. They also arranged an early breakfast without any hassle. The staff were prompt and made us feel comfortable. The room and bathroom could use better upkeep, and the indoor games room was in poor shape and needs work. Even so, the location, food, and staff make it a worthwhile visit for nature lovers.

Chef Mahesh made a point of preparing special dishes and customized baby food every time, without us needing to ask. That thoughtful care meant a lot to us as parents. The rest of the team were warm, attentive, and accommodating throughout. We also really enjoyed the food, with a wide choice including continental dishes, chaat, and South Indian options. Our room was clean, spacious, and well kept, and the bathroom was spotless, nicely designed, and luxurious. We had a wonderful stay at The Windflower Resort, Bandipur, and would love to return.

We had a lovely birdwatching walk with Rajesh, enjoyed the bullock cart ride, and were glad the front desk arranged safari tickets for us. Deer were wandering around the resort too. There are indoor and outdoor games, and the cottages were good. Meals came as a well-spread buffet, with plenty of yummy dishes. Thanks to Siddaraju and his team. The lush forest edge and quiet, unpolluted surroundings made it easy to unwind. Soft music by the bonfire would be a nice addition. We'd love to come back.
