OYO 49907 Hotel Udaipur Valley

It seems like a normal property, probably suitable for solo travellers. The rooms are spacious, but the blankets and towels they provided were very dirty, and the toilets weren’t clean.

No WiFi, zero hygiene, and the bedsheets had awful marks. The rooms were bad too. Worst experience ever, don’t go to this hotel at any cost.

The rooms were at least big and spacious, and the TV worked properly. Everything in the room was functional. Still, this was a bad, bad experience. The location is very weird, and without the glowing OYO logo we would never have found it, even with Google Maps. It seemed like a home converted into a hotel, since no two rooms were alike. Our booking for 2x Triple Rooms and 1x Double Room was pointless: we got two double rooms and just one triple, with one of us sleeping on a mattress. They wouldn’t provide an extra bed, even though there was space and empty rooms. There were no security personnel, and there’s a direct entrance from the front gate to the lobby. The CCTV cameras were active, fortunately, but when we arrived the reception was empty, so we had to shout for the owner, who was the only receptionist, to come down. Service was the worst part. Only a teenage boy handled room service for the whole hotel. We ordered 8 cups of tea, and it took them more than 45 minutes to bring them. Our towels weren’t properly cleaned and had literal poop stains. Luckily, we had our own. The bathroom was tiny, and it was hard to bathe without physically touching one of the opposite walls. I will not recommend this hotel.
