Collection O 77042 Tetrad Hotel (Kanaka Grand)

The rooms are good, but after visiting for a year, I’ve seen the standards slip. The Wi-Fi is very slow, there are no TV channels, and room service isn’t up to scratch. Breakfast comes from a roadside stall, and management doesn’t seem accountable. I wouldn’t recommend it if hospitality matters to you.

The basic facilities weren’t there: no hot water, the TV didn’t work, and there was no kitchenette despite it being listed in the website amenities. I’d booked in a hurry and paid for two meals a day with the room, but when I arrived they refused to provide the meals. I had to contact the booking site about a refund. Being told they’d look into it didn’t fix anything. This was my worst experience, and I’d tell people to avoid booking here.

The room even had a cockroach, and the extra towel I asked for wasn’t available. Since the in-house restaurant was closed, I ordered from outside and requested plates, but they never came. There was no hot water either. They said it would be fixed in half an hour, but three hours later nothing had changed. I’d already paid in full through a booking app, yet they charged me extra. After all that, they still call this a 3 star property. A horrible, disappointing stay.

I’m Hari, and Editio O 30015 was a really pleasant hotel in the Hebbal area of Bangalore. It’s spacious, close to the main road, and easy to find. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Alisha and Abhishek were especially good and friendly in their service. I’d strongly recommend staying here.
