HM Suites & Studios Bangalore

I’ve stayed at HM Suites regularly since 2006 and have recommended it to many of my foreign guests over the years. Some bookings have been for as many as 20 rooms. But when I called today, Mr. Rakesh, the new manager, quoted ₹6,500 for a room. That seems unreasonable to me, and at that price I’d rather pick a 4-star hotel. I’m also confused because the prices online look significantly lower than the rate quoted directly. It makes me wonder how the property is retaining long-standing guests like me. I hope they can clarify the difference and offer a more reasonable arrangement.

It’s literally affordable for this location, right in the middle of Bangalore’s CBD. Churchstreet, brigade, and residency are just a short walk away, and it’s right opposite bastian /st marks hotel. It’s an old school place with lovely rooms, great staff, and nice food.

The rooms were clean, really spacious, and quiet, and I had a superb stay. Given the building’s age and the price, it was worth the money. I paid 3.5k for new years even on make my trip.

There’s a yoga centre on site with a quiet place to unwind, and the spa has trained professionals and a good range of wellness treatments. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent choice. In the room, a small but usable kitchen has a gas stove, handy for making chai, and the in-house kitchen stays open till 10:30 pm for late cravings. Right in the city center, HM Suites & Studios feels peaceful and thoughtfully designed. The interiors are cozy and welcoming, and each room has an attached hall, so it feels more like a compact studio than a standard hotel room. It balances comfort, usefulness, and a homey touch, making it suitable for short or extended stays in Bengaluru.
