SPOT ON 35541 Hotel Neelam

The location works well for getting around the city and reaching local bus stops. Hotel Neelam is an economical option for a short stay, particularly if you're traveling alone, on business, or just need a night in Bareilly. Rooms are modest, with basics such as a fan, bed and attached bathroom, and some may have a TV. Comfort and cleanliness can vary, and a few rooms may not have good ventilation. Staff are generally cooperative with simple requests, though the service isn't premium. Food choices on site may be limited, so guests often use nearby restaurants or order delivery. It's not a good fit for a family holiday or anyone expecting luxury, but it can offer decent value on a tight budget.

I travel for work about 20 days each month, and I always check my arrangements with a hotel beforehand. I told your staff when booking that I needed to stay from 7:30 PM on 16.12.2024 until 7:30 PM on 17.12.2024, and they accepted that. The receptionist boy, whose name I don't know, also said it was fine when I told him in the morning and afternoon that I might extend until evening. At checkout, though, he seemed to have forgotten and charged me for two days after first saying I could stay for 24 hours. Money isn't the issue for me, the commitment is. I spoke with the reception, but the staff member didn't seem to understand. This is third-class service from uneducated staff. Shame on your hotel system, Mr Owner. My review will stay the same: third-class and uneducated staff.

There wasn't even a working socket to charge my phone, and I wouldn't count on getting any room amenities. The room was cramped and had no ventilation. In the bathroom, pipes leaked, the sink had no water, the exhaust fan didn't work, and things weren't properly maintained. A very bad experience.

The room is decent for the price, and the atmosphere is nice. It's in a great spot for reaching different parts of the city.
