Motel Marble Rocks

The boating was a highlight, especially the sailors’ funny commentary. Chousath Yogini temple, maa narmada temple, dhuandhar and panchvati, the boating point, are all within walking distance of the hotel. Bhedaghat’s pure stream of maa narmada winding between the beautiful marble rocks is a unique sight. Seeing it once makes you want to return again and again. Nature has made this place so beautiful, and I salute the gods’ creation of Jabalpur’s marble rocks, “BHEDAGHAT”. MPT Marble Rocks hotel is a lovely, cosy place by the bank of the river maa narmada, with a great view of the river from the property and even from the rooms. The property is clean and well maintained, and the ambiance is very good. Staff are friendly, helpful and well behaved, greeting us with lovely smiles when we arrived. The food was really yummy, from the starters to the main course. There are souvenir shops selling beautiful marble items at very reasonable prices.

The setting at MPT Marble Rock puts Maa Narmada and the marble cliffs close by, and watching the river pass between those towering white walls in the golden morning light felt like a darshan. I left feeling more like a pilgrim than a tourist. The view from the resort made it easy to sit quietly and take in the sacred, striking landscape. We were also deeply grateful to Shri Kehar Singh, Housekeeping Supervisor. He helped our family well beyond what was expected, anticipating needs and sorting out concerns calmly. He was attentive without hovering, and treated everyone, including our elderly parents, with real dignity and care. He’s a real treasure for the resort. The food was a pleasure too. Each dish had bold but balanced flavours, grounded in Madhya Pradesh’s culinary traditions and made with what felt like real pride in local produce. From the first bite to the last, we savoured it. From arrival, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed, more like coming home than checking into a resort. Every request brought a genuine, kind smile. MPT Marble Rock is an experience shaped by the scenery, the sacred surroundings and the people. We’ll return because Maa Narmada and the warmth of this place will call us back. Highly recommended.

We had to leave early, so they packed us a generous breakfast of bread, butter and fruit. Dinner was excellent too, and the Chef, servers and Mr Kahar Singh looked after every guest in the dining hall. The dishes were very good. Our tent was a nice size, clean and had a washroom. It’s a lovely property, and the staff were welcoming, courteous and very helpful.

Chaudhary Yogini temple, Bhedaghat boating and Dhuandhar falls are all an easy walk from this clean, well-located hotel run by MP Tourism. The falls are especially lovely early in the morning, about a 1.5km walk. Staff were courteous, and the food was great, like home-cooked meals. I’d stay here again.
